Everything is coming up Rosemary

Everything's Coming Up ROSEMARY

Saturday, December 17, 2011, 10 – 11:30am

Hospice del Valle in Alamosa

Rosemary is a traditional symbol of good health, fidelity, and remembrance. It is one of the best antioxidant herbs and is also excellent for enhancing circulation. Rosemary helps increase the oxygen supply to the brain, thus sharpening concentration and memory.

The Alamosa Community Greenhouse will sponsor a Rosemary workshop--”Everything's Coming Up Rosemary”--on Saturday, December 17 at10am at Hospice del Valle, 514 Main Street in Alamosa. Discussion will include using fresh rosemary for cooking, how to dry rosemary, sachet making and salve preparation using rosemary oil for skin health. A $5 materials fee will be charged. For further information, contact Jan Oen at 587-5529.

Thomas Jefferson

"Whenever there are in any country uncultivated lands and unemployed poor, it is clear that the laws of property have been so far extended as to violate natural right. The earth is given as a common stock for man to labor and live on. The small landowners are the most precious part of a state"
